Not Just COBOL: CICS, too
LegacyJ’s cross-compiler supports many different dialects of COBOL, including all of the IBM “flavors”, and can provide JVM-compatible executables for mainframes, Unix, Linux, and Windows systems.
But, while moving COBOL was our first major product, we also have a CICS replacement product: C2JKix
As the compiler was being implemented in 1996-7, we concluded that a significant portion of the prospects in the IBM mainframe space would not be able to move to modernize without a fully integrated CICS solution.
