Use LegacyJ products to migrate your business applications and make use of the latest technologies.    LegacyJ Transaction Platform is the Java alternative to proprietary IBM CICS systems.  LTP and PERCobol Transaction deliver the capability to move CICS COBOL pseudo conversational Applications into a J2EE Application Server environment. Migrate "transactions",  "BMS" and other transaction resources to operate system and platform independent. LegacyJ Transaction Platform operates in conjunction with LegacyJ PERCobol permitting existing transaction based COBOL applications to be compiled and deployed anywhere in the commodity computing environment. PERCobol is the modern advanced function COBOL compiler permitting the creation of Graphical, Object Oriented, Platform independent, Java enabled COBOL applications. Using PERCobol, COBOL applications may fully exploit new capabilities or only use those required for a specific programming environment.  PERCobol compiler permits use of modern COBOL features with little or no changes to existing COBOL code. Compile for the J2EE platform and use  EJBs, XML, MQSeries, IMS clients, CICS clients, SQL, SSL and Web Services.   All are supported with LegacyJ PERCobol. ISAMJ connects Java technology with the ISAM interface. ISAM is defined for native code (primarily in C); a bridge is necessary to connect Java to the native code. Connectivity is provided through JNI (Java Native Interface), allowing Java code to access ISAM as if it were just another Java API. ISAMJ enables the original native code ISAM to execute and access the original ISAM data. ISAMJ is distributed in two parts: the Java component and the JNI native component. The Java component is common regardless of platform. The Java interfaces and Java classes are accessed on any supported platform   VSAM-SQL Bridge provides the mapping between VSAM data structure definitions in COBOL and data rehosted in a RDBMS. LegacyJ VSAM-SQL Bridge works in conjunction with LegacyJ Transaction PERCobol. ISAM-SQL Bridge provides the mapping between ISAM data structure definitions in COBOL and ISAM (C-ISAM, ISAM, etc.) data rehosted in a RDBMS. LegacyJ ISAM-SQL Bridge works in conjunction with LegacyJ  PERCobol Server Edition.. LegacyJ Datacom Bridge services provides the DBNTRY function and permits the replacement of Datacom application database.  LegacyJ Datacom Bridge works in conjunction with LegacyJ Transaction Suite and/or LegacyJ PERCobol Transaction Version to provide access to data once stored in Datacom. LegacyJ Bridge Datacom functions are be supported in a “like manner” to the capabilities in the legacy Datacom environment.  So users do not need to change and COBOL source programs in order to make use of this support. DDS Plug-in is a dynamic non-disruptive solution permitting the reuse of IBM iSeries DDS screens with PERCobol. DDS Plug-in converts text screens to run independent of the iSeries. ViewJ is a dynamic non-disruptive graphic solution that permits HP VPlus Screens to be independent from HP e3000. ViewJ uses HP VPlus "Forms Specifications" and "Process Specifications" as the meta data which at execution time can be displayed either in text or graphics mode. ViewJ in combination with PERCobol permits application mobility and migration of HP COBOL II applications from MPE/iX to modern "OPEN" platforms.
