PERCobol is the COBOL compiler that will permit COBOL programs to be platform independent.  A compile with PERCobol  may be all that is required to move a once platform specific COBOL program to run anywhere.

CICS COBOL programs can be recompiled and deployed onto J2EE compliant Application Servers using PERCobol.
